Cafe Wohnraum in Cologne

Overall, I grabbed a coffee here three times and each time the staff weren't particularly friendly. The only word that was said to me was the price to be paid. Update: Unfortunately I was only stared at until I placed my order. The employees did not wear a mask (these are also protected by Plexiglas) and I wore mine over my mouth and not my ears. So I don't think I missed it three times in three visits. Well, I will certainly not go here again. Fortunately, there are enough other cafés with nice staff in Nippes.

Absolute favorite café in Nippes. Bagels, farmer's bread, cakes or smoothies - everything is delicious and freshly prepared here. As it's so good, make reservations on the weekend, but it's definitely worth it!

Quite good breakfast. You should definitely make reservations during the week. You don't sit outside that great. Prices a little too high for performance. Smoothies are not even garnished with a piece of fruit or the like.

Sweet café with a delicious breakfast selection. We visited the coffee at seven and all of us got our breakfast at the same time :) Inside, it is nicely decorated, decorated and cozy. A star deduction as we had to wait a long time for our breakfast.

The coffee is good, the interior cute, but the service is just poor. Being attentive and friendly should be the basics for any place that serves food. The owner undoubtedly doesn't understand this concept. I definitely don't want to spend any money where I am not valued as a customer (just read the owner's answers here). I also wouldn't expect a change until there is some competitor in this area.

The coffee is alright but not worth enduring the mood of the baristas and servers. Reading the responses to reviewers here on google I get the impression this is a more deeply rooted issue. Edit: I think the owner‘s response to my review clearly shows how customers are treated in this cafe. Also a nice touch to assume I have „a problem with women“. On what grounds do you base this assumption?

The small café is exactly what you would expect! A small, well-designed menu, very pleasant atmosphere and nice, informal decor. There are different drinks, where everyone gets their taste. I noticed how nice and informal the waitress advised on the selection of dishes - I really liked it! Those who want to spend a relaxing time are in good hands here.

Very nice Cafe with tasty sandwiches and good coffee. The spots upstairs are nice to get some work done. Next time I venture to Koeln I will surely stop by again.

A great offer of delicious breakfasts awaits you there. Even in the middle of the week reservations in the morning are recommended. If I understood the many unfolded laptops correctly, then the place is also suitable for working.

Amazingly comfortable Café on Neusser Straße in Nippes, Köln. Delicious drink and food options, fair prices, outside seating options and friendly service. Perfect spot to enjoy a cappuccino and a light sandwich in the sun in the beautiful district of Nippes.

Great Atmosphere, friendly staff, good coffe and a lot of alternatives for vegetarians. Unfortunately what we’ve tried was ok, but not that tasty.

(Sorry about the review in English) I've been to this place twice and really loved their food. Absolutely everything I ordered was delicious. I took my English partner with me and he confessed that the best scones he'd had in his life were from this café. However, the last time we came here we were left with a bittersweet aftertaste, as we think one of the waiters tried to take advantage of the fact that we're not native to Cologne, "forgot" to give us the receipt and the change (it was over 1€ change), and when I protested (in German) she kind of brushed it off and didn't apologize. So if you're a tourist, I'd advise to always ask for the receipt and do the math yourself.

If you like delicious breakfast with a fair price try Café Wohnraum! I think one of the best “healthy” breakfast in Cologne. You can have sandwiches or Salad too. Also good place for vegan breakfast.

Great place for breakfast, good coffee and smoothies - modern place, full of young people. Book a table in advance for the weekend as it is quite full and be prepared to wait for some time for the food. Probably the best breakfast place in Nippes!
